Vintage Rino Frascarolo 18K Yellow Gold, Enamel & Diamond Roaring Tiger Brooch Clip, Italy c. 1960s
Considered by many as David Webb of Italy, Rino Frascarolo animal jewelry in enamel is sought after and regarded as highly collectible
A fantastic highly sculptured brooch depicting a roaring tiger with head, shoulders and front paws
Rendered in 18K yellow gold with nice textural details, the tiger is painted in black/white enamel stripe and embellished with twenty-five (25) single-cut diamonds on the front of the chest and red ruby eyes
The brooch is beautifully dimensional, sizable and weighty
The reverse completed by original double pin fitting
Brooch is fully hallmarked with maker's mark and Italian mark
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Some enamel wear and repair can be noted upon very close examination. Won't be apparent when brooch is worn
