LOCH NESS MONSTER “NESSIE’ VINTAGE EMBROIDERED IMPORTED HANKY FROM
SCOTLAND
. Condition is "New". Shipped with USPS First Class.
Here we have a little cool little item, which up to the moment I had to take a photo if it, had never been opened and the hanky has never been unfolded.
I forget how long ago this was acquired, but the handkerchief has been folded and inside this little box for probably 50 years our more. It looks as if it was made in the 1950s or 1960s. There's a little cellophane window on the box which has kept this hanky dust-free for half a century.
It looks hand embroidered (see close-up) but maybe an expert could tell.
The box, being made of simple cardboard, may have transferred its tone onto the handkerchief (see photo). There's yellowing and foxing on the cloth.
I have no idea how large it is since I did not want to open it up, but just take a photo of the handkerchief out of its box (for the first time since it was made) and then slip it back into the box.
It has always been in a non-smoking home.
I will send this in a USPS small flat rate box so that the hanky box doesn’t get mooshed by the USPS

This would be great to put in a scrapbook of travels to Scotland, or turned into a note card to send to a friend, or cut & sewn to an item of clothing - Lots of interesting uses for a unique little embroidered Loch Ness Monster. Use your imagination! It’s a cheap opening bid!
