    Description

    The Kenya 50 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 1987 with maroon and brown color combinations. Its obverse features roses, the coat of arms of Kenya, and the second president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. The reverse of the note depicts a Boeing 727 jet plane cruising over a tower and a terminal at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi, in Mount Kenya. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a lion’s head. It is 152 x 78 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
