    Description

    This terrific Large cent collection is complete from 1816 - 1857 for a total of 42 coins.  This is an opportunity to own the entire Cornet head large cent series at an affordable price. All of the coins have readable dates, none have holes or are bent.  The collection is housed in an attractive new Whitman folder.  The conditions of the coins vary and some have issues like cleaning, marks, environmental damage and/or scratches.  The coins you see in the photographs are the exact coins that will be shipped to the winning bidder.  The 1857 (333,456 mintage),1823 (low, but unknown mintage) and 1821 (389,000 mintage) are keys in the Coronet Head large cent series and are highlighted in the individual photographs.  The 1857 is problem free and might be the nicest coin in the collection.  The 1821 is an attractive, clean coin with two small rim nicks on the reverse. The 1823 has a very worn date and a lot of honest wear, but is otherwise a problem free example of this very rare date.  Please review the photos carefully as I do not accept returns.  I am happy to answer any questions you have and can send photos of individual coins up to a day before the end of the auction.
