AURORA 88 STERLING SILVER FOUNTAIN (MODEL 818), UNUSED IN ORIG BOX

Offered in this listing is the AURORA 88 (Model 816) STERLING SILVER, a part of the JEWELRY COLLECTION composed of a group of high end Aurora pens in precious metals  This pen was previously owned but unused and was retained in the beautiful large wooden box, I think, reserved for pens in the Jewelry collection. This well known pen was originally designed by Marcello Nizzoli in the '50's and  the pen bears two tiny M marks, one on the clip screw and one on the cap ring which I assume bear tribute Marcello. The exterior has a gold plated clip and cap ring and is otherwise solid Sterling in a Godron style fluted pattern. In the open monogram area on the cap the pen is marked  925 and the Italian star sterling mark with *5 TO associated with the JEWELRY COLLECTION. The pen is 5-3/8" long and marked AURORA on the cap band. It is equipped with a converter filler. The nib is a mono-color 14KT Medium marked AURORA and with some minimal flexibility. The original box has the paperwork and is in excellent condition. ..looks like walnut, beautiful hinging and leather-like lining. Outer carton has some edge wear.
